Dance Institute Class Registration

To register please download and complete the registration form for the division you are interested and any other forms required. The completed forms can be mailed to the Minnesota Dance Theatre & the Dance Institute office, dropped-off in person, or sent back as a PDF file to info@mndance.org. Registration must be completed and in the office by the first day of class.

Prospective students age 9 and up are required to take a placement class to determine the students level. Visit the Performing Arts Division page for placement classes schedule. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Minnesota Dance Theatre & the Dance Institute Parents Association

Volunteers play a key role at Minnesota Dance Theatre & the Dance Institute, providing our dancers with valuable services and contributions. We encourage parents to be involved in the high quality of dance education and performing experiences for your students and offer a variety of opportunities requiring a range of skills, interests, and schedules. Thank you for being involved in your child's dance education and for supporting Minnesota Dance Theatre & the Dance Institute.

Work Study

To the extent that funds permit, Minnesota Dance Theatre & the Dance Institute offers work study to qualifying students in the form of reduced tuition. Applications for the 2011-2012 school will be due August 20, 2011. Assistance, based on need, is determined using a sliding scale that considers family financial resources, number of dependents and degree of commitment. Work Study is limited to Level IV students and above and is granted for the full academic year. Re-application is required for each new academic year. Please return application with registration form and other requested documents via mail, in person, or via email, as PDF files to info@mndance.org.
